About Us
A Matter of Style offers programmes in presentation, manners and etiquette for business solutions, educational training, personal development or purely for enjoyment. Our clients include corporations, small companies, university graduates, schools, private groups and individuals.
Its founder and director, Alexandra Travers, worked in the corporate arena before focusing her career in presentation, etiquette and deportment. She was increasingly aware that a greater understanding of these fundamental skills could do wonders to support a person's professional and social success. With this knowledge she established A Matter of Style.
We are committed to sharing our knowledge and skills with you so that you can create the perfect first impression in any situation. The first impression is made up of two components:
Your appearance; posture, hair, make up, clothes and accessories
Your behaviour; manners, etiquette, conversation, attitude, disposition
The first impression you project, be it at a corporate event, job interview, client meeting, dinner date or your first day of employment can be the ultimate factor to determine whether you succeed or fail in that situation.
The facilitators are leaders in their fields and have been chosen for their expertise. The sessions are structured to create an informative yet relaxed atmosphere. We create an enjoyable and dynamic class environment by using handouts, presentations, role play and demonstrations.
