Background

A Matter of Style's founder and director, Alexandra Travers, worked in the corporate sectors and retail industry before focusing her career on presentation, etiquette and deportment training.

The business initially focused on extra curicular courses within schools and colleges to further students skills to prepare them for the workplace and as a foundation for their ongoing careers.

The programmes were welcomed with open arms by parents and teachers alike and by utilising role play and an open class environment the students also responded positively. Within a year we were delivering prorammes to schools and colleges across NSW.

A year later we expanded our client base by delivering programmes to legal and accounting firms, insurance businesses, retail companies and government organisations.

In 2007 A Matter of Style specifically tailored a programme for the National Rugby League Clubs. The NRL accredited this programme as they believe it will assist their players in positively representing the players and their club. Further clubs have followed suit and also include similar bespoke sessions to their education and development programmes.

We now deliver a range of sucessful programmes to all corporate sectors.
